As the heat of summer starts to roll in throughout the falls, many Tatsukoi are starting to kick off the season with some fun summer activities and events! Rumor has been circulating of the biggest names in the music game gathering in the second layer… and it seems the rumors are true! A music festival is being held there... the Summer Daze Music Festival!

Musicians from all genres are gathering to perform on the festival’s many stages, there's something for everybody! Perhaps your Tatsukoi are interested in attending… or maybe even taking the stage themselves! There’s fun to be had for those not interested in the festival of course too, the summer has many seasonal activities to indulge in!

All prompts from this event will reward gold! Gold can be spent in any of our site's shops, including the limited time event shop, the Summer Daze Vendor Hall!

They will also reward raffle tickets for this event's raffles! The raffles for this event include the following designs, as well as two layer 6 MYO slots!

For this event's raffles, we will be doing the same thing as usual! We will not be rolling people for individual prizes and instead, we will be rolling enough people for the amount of prizes, then letting those folks pick which prize they want! For example, the first person to be rolled to win a prize will get the first pick of the prizes, the second person rolled will get the second pick, and so on!

UPDATES REGARDING STAFF:

Starting today, I (eggomancer) will be taking a step back from most of my duties as the species owner! One of our moderators, and a very close friend of mine, BrokenBottleChandelier, will be stepping up as an admin, and will be taking a position similar to mine. He will be in charge of the site, Discord, and species as a whole in my absence.

During this absence, please do not message me about matters regarding the species! Please respect the distance I’m taking. The rest of the mod team is still around and open to helping you out!

I will be taking the time I am not working on the species to work on my art, commission work, store, and personal projects I have not had time for. I may also use this time to work on things for the species that I haven’t been able to between work on events! This will be further in the future though, as I will be taking a break from the group overall until August at the very least.

To reiterate, I am not stepping down from my post, nor am I leaving the species. If anything, the only shift in staff position is Buzz stepping up! I will still be around in the Discord server, and you may see my work show up in some places on the site!

I am not sure when I will be back as a full member of the staff team, but I do intend to return eventually! Truth be told, I have needed a break from the administrative side of the group for a very, very long time now and I’ve become a bit burnt out. I’ve always been a bit of an overachiever and people pleaser, so it’s caused me to push myself much further than I should for the group. (not because of anyone!) At the end of the day though, this community, species, and story is still very dear to me and I do not wish to cast it aside!

Please be kind to the rest of the team in my absence! I trust that they’re going to do a wonderful job with the species while I’m gone, and I hope you all do to!!
