Profile MYO-0096: Mariposa

      Mariposa is a 5"8' tall female Tatsukoi. She was born and identifies as a female in her own right. She is excitable and very kind to everyone. She is chipper and greets most every morning with optimism and a bright smile.

      Mariposa's parents decended the falls from their homes above to hatch her in the deep basin of layer one. There, along with the help and guidance of the elders/caretakers, they raised Mari for four years after she was born, loving her and teaching her to love herself, the world, and those around her. Once Mariposa turned five, her parents left to re-ascend the cascades, hoping to motivate and inspire Mariposa to make her own journey up the falls. Mariposa grieved for a while after they left, missing them dearly, but determination to see them again drove her forward and she spent the next four years studying what was archived about the towering layers above her in the Basin's librarie(s). Once convinced she was ready, clinging to the earring her mother gave her before she left, she began her brave ascent up the waterfalls that connected all of the cascades. Along her journey through the spines of layer two, she had gotten injured and found shelter in a cabin she thought was abandoned. Turned out an old tatsukoi lived here and the elder helped Mari recover. Over time, Mariposa, not only healed, but stayed with the elder for about a year or two, absorbing all of the elder's wisdom and teachings of survival/crafts as she could. Mariposa was stunned at the majesty of the third haven compared to the layers below, when she finally fought past the turbulent waters. She was eager to find her parents here and IMMEDIATELY began asking around if anyone knew her parents. Mari stumbled across an adventurer's guild while on her search, and to her luck, some party bands recognized her left ear's earring, matching it to a name. They guided Mariposa to her mother and her family... its an understatement to say this was a tearful reunion. Mariposa was so relieved to have her mother back. Her father rushed down from his cavernous home in layer four once he received a letter, informing him of the tremendous news. They cried together in each other's arms, sharing stories and reminiscing. Mariposa now currently lives in the villa her mother and her half of the family reside in. Father never knew his family, but made it a requirement for himself to often come to see his wife and daughter.

     Mariposa later ended up returning to the adventurer's guild that helped her reunite with her parents and became a member! Mariposa has a natural curiosity and aptitude for adventurer, so the vast world calls to her deep down. She has quickly risen through the adventurer ranks and is currently a diamond rank adventurer. She has asked her father to go adventuring with her in the 4th layer, which he is always looking forward to, and her mother doesn't travel all that often anymore like she use to, on account of her accident in layer 5, attempting to reach Elysium, that resulted in her meeting mariposa's father.
