feel free to use this for anything in the future!

Miners Haven is a historic mining settlement that has outlived many of the other mining settlements neighbouring it due to its beautiful view of the seas surrounding the Cascades. The buildings of this town are split between old historical ones and newer ones. There are many museums in the haven that showcase all manners of things from the town’s history, including fossils, old mining gear, rare ores, and other things! Many of the historic sights here are protected from being removed and rarely toured. Some are even protected by preservation magic! The newer buildings tend to be separated from the historic section of the town. Architecture is pretty varied in Miners Haven, mixes of various building techniques and styles integrated into the town's buildings. While many historians visit this town, there is also a large population of other tatsukoi who have found their home here! There are large platforms built of wood and stone overlooking the coastline. The view makes this place a great spot to unwind and recuperate before climbing to higher layers! Gathering food is difficult for those living here, livestock difficult to take care of in the cramped space. Agriculture is mostly limited to whatever plants can manage to grow on the spines. While there has been research put into growing crops on the platforms making up this town, most haven’t been deemed efficient enough to gain widespread use. Many homeowners do have small crops like herbs and flowers growing outside their homes in small garden beds and greenhouses! Produce from layer one is commonly traded in this town. Homes are usually built onto the spines or onto the large platforms braced into them. Construction is near constant in this town, new buildings usually replacing older ones due to new ways to build stronger reinforcements being constantly researched. There are multiple layers of buildings in Miners Haven, the lower one being mostly historical while the higher ones with stronger supports are connected with ladders, hanging bridges and staircases!
